TO THE GLORY OF GOD

Join us as we usher in Easter weekend with Good Friday Service at 6:00 PM. This service is unique in that we focus on the sacrifice, death, and burial of Jesus. It isn’t intended to be a service of celebration, but one of remembrance as we walk through the day of Jesus’ earthly death. Childcare will be offered for children 2 and under.

The celebration of Jesus’s triumph over death during our Sunrise Service at 7:00 AM. This service is outside, weather permitting. Getting to watch the sunrise as we sing together and recount the excitement and wonder in the garden is a wonderful way to begin our day of celebration. This service is family style, so kiddos in their favorite pjs are welcome and encouraged.

After Sunrise Service, head home and come back for a family style sit down Pancake Breakfast at 9:00 AM. Living Hope will provide pancakes, juice, and coffee. If you would like to help provide a bit more variety, feel free to bring something that isn’t so sweet - like egg casserole or fruit. After we eat, help us clean up and prepare for our 10:30 AM Easter Worship Service. All regular childcare will be available.

Hello!

We have been in the B/CS area for over 25 years and LOVE getting to serve such a diverse and unique community of people.

Our vision is to "Be a disciple... Make disciples... Be the church... To the glory of God!" We want to see that lived out individually and collectively as a church in all we do. We seek to be Gospel centered, intergenerational, and authentic.

We aren't perfect people and don't expect you to be, either. We would love for you to come visit us, watch a sermon online, and reach out to us with any questions you have!

BY GATHERING TOGETHER TO WORSHIP

On Sunday mornings we gather to worship as a church family. At these times we focus on the Gospel through preaching, teaching, singing, praying, and celebrating baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Additionally, we gather in smaller groups called Hope Groups and offer Equipping Classes during the school year. As we study God’s Word we become better equipped for a life of discipleship.

BE A DISCIPLE

BY SERVING, SHARING OUR FAITH, AND LIVING MISSIONALLY

Serving, sharing our faith, and living missionally naturally flow out of discipleship. Through baptism, we are able to publicly show others our commitment to living out a life of a disciple. It is one of the ways we let other’s know what God is doing in our lives.

God extends grace and mercy to us and we are to extend it to others as well. All of this is for His glory and not ours. We do each of these with love, humility, generosity, and hospitality. Service comes out of a heart to show God’s love to others and support the various areas that allow our church body to minister to those who attend.

MAKE DISCIPLES

IN THE CONTEXT OF A HOPE GROUP

Community is the context for discipleship. We don’t follow Jesus in isolation. Rather, we were made to be in relationship – with God and each other. We don’t go to church. We ARE the church. This happens best within the context of a Hope Group, our small group communities.
