Welcome to the Discipleship Ministry Team page! If you're reading this, it means you're interested in the word "discipleship" (and maybe even serving!). You may have come here thinking, "I want to be a teacher at Living Hope, so I'll join this team." That's a possibility. But a teacher must be ready to apply what he/she knows, and this team gives you the opportunity for humble service. This is the place where we make everything possible for our teachers.

“Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” 1 Timothy 4:7-8 (NIV) The purpose of our School of Discipleship is to assist the body of believers in training themselves to be godly. Paul’s encouragement to both Timothy and us includes a warning regarding false teachings. He refers to them in this passage as “godless myths and old wives’ tales.” There are many teachings in our society that are not consistent with the teaching of God’s word. Are you training yourself to be godly? Let our School of Discipleship help. Fall class sign-ups are going on now! When you sign-up for a class, you help determine whether that class actually will be presented or not. We need a minimum of seven students for any particular class to be taught.

Don't get me wrong-our teachers are great! The BEST! But sometimes they need a little help from others to be truly successful. That is how the Body works, right? So how can you be involved with this team? First of all, if you're a member of Living Hope, you're qualifies to be on the team. Now that you know you are qualified, please make plans to attend our next meeting. Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
